Joyce was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ellis Grove, IL.
Joyce married the love of her life, Albert Schaefer, on July 4, 1960, in Prairie Du Rocher, IL
Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert, her parents, and brother, Harrod Bergmann.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at St Mary of Divine Maternity, Ellis Grove, IL. Father Sebastian will be officiating.
A celebration of Life lunch will follow immediately after in the church's Parish Center. Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M., St. Patrick's Cemetery, Ruma, IL
