Karey Kennedy

Karey is survived by his partner and best friend Lindsey Ellis of Waterloo IL, his loyal brother Christopher (Jeri) Ezell of GA, his mother Carol Causey of GA, daughter Heather, and granddaughter in CA. his extended family, cousins, uncles and friends.  Karey never met a stranger.  He adored, animals, fishing, nature, PS4 gaming, grilling, cooking, and looking after those he loved. Karey had many talents. He enjoyed making people laugh. He was an enthusiastic dreamer who wore life like a lose garment. We were beyond fortunate to have had him in our lives. Karey traveled extensively as a merchant marine with the Seafarers’ International Union of North America.

I could go on for days sharing about him and how much those who adored him miss him. If you knew him there’s no explanation needed. 

A memorial service has not been planned, however, a celebration of life party that Karey would have liked to attend himself will be scheduled later.
