Robert Leslie Day

Robert Leslie Day, 71, of Waterloo, IL died August 14, 2023 in Creve Coeur, MO. He was born August 4, 1952 in Hutchinson, KS.

Surviving are his sister Carol L. (Dan) O'Donnell of Belleville, IL, brother William M. (Jean) Day of Belleville, IL, sister Karen A. (Duane Tucker) Day of Converse, TX; nephews; great nephews; great nieces; and other relatives, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Richard and Mary Jean, nee Hisey, Day; and brothers John Charles Day and Thomas Jeffrey Day.

Bob's love of marketing drove him to a sole proprietorship of several businesses from women's shoe stores to window/roofing services. At an early age, his passion about golf started with caddying and later enjoying daily rounds with "the gang" at Mystic Oaks Golf Course in Waterloo. His interest in hunting, powder gun competition, shooting and photography were also favored hobbies.

Private family service will be held at a later date.
