Robin Lee Edwards

Robin Lee Edwards, 60, of Walsh, IL went home to be with Jesus on Friday, March 11, 2022 @ Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Robin was born on March 4, 1962. As a young girl and throughout her life Robin was wildly fierce and passionate about the things and people she loved. She was always willing to help others in need and never backed down from a challenge. Robin worked as a Union Laborer Local 459 since 1995. She was not afraid of hard work; she was a strong, proud woman with a heart of gold. Robin was a member of the Sparta Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, puzzles, horse races, refinishing antique furniture, and was always up for a good debate.

Robin is survived by her mother, Marlene Edwards of Walsh; siblings, Jermaine (husband Wayne) Eggemeyer of Walsh, Matthew Edwards of Sparta, and Betty (husband Ed) Loyd of Walsh; special friends Tommy Zipfel, Jake Smith, Rosemary Smith, and Jacob Smith Jr.; 6 Nieces, 4 nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Frankie.

Robin was preceded in death by her father Alfred Edwards; sister, Lynn Jones; paternal and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Mable Edwards and Everett and Frieda Rickenberg.
